Tampa Bay, FL – WEDU-Tampa Bay PBS recently caught up with children’s author, Nancy Stewart to discuss her timely picture book, One Pelican at a Time and the environmental concerns of the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill. With both the station and interviewee supporting the GulfWatch cause, PBS descended on the Book Nook by the Bay event on June 4 in S. Petersburg, Florida to begin their observation of Ms. Stewart during her book reading and signing.

The next day, Tara Slusher, producer of WEDU-Tampa Bay PBS continued with a special thought provoking interview on Clearwater Beach and at Ms. Stewart’s place of residence overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean.
