(TAPPAN, NEW YORK) – Join the creators of the picture book, Angel’s Forever Home at their pre-launch book signing and fundraiser and help support the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to this worthwhile organization so they may continue to place rescue animals in their forever homes.

A Story of Patience and Courage

An injured dog finds comfort from his rescuer and ultimately with his new family

(TAPPAN, NEW YORK) – Angel’s Forever Home is a richly illustrated picture book that takes the reader on the journey of rescue animals in finding their forever homes.

By capturing the inner thoughts of rescue dog, Angel, children are immediately immersed into the world of Angel’s quest to find his forever home. Feeling unease of judgment from his injury Angel’s journey is an emotional rollercoaster that will have the reader cheering for him each step of the way. 

Synopsis: Angel knows he is lucky to be one of the few dogs rescued from the Chilean earthquake, but now he finds himself with challenging physical limitations and in need of a new family. Facing his fear of rejection for not being like other dogs, he embarks on a journey that teaches him the importance of patience, courage, and the willingness to open his heart to others.

About the authors:

Rita Gigante is a sought-out psychic medium, spiritual healer, and published author. Her memoir, The Godfather’s Daughter: An Unlikely Story of Love, Healing, and Redemption, was published in 2012. Rita is co-owner of Space of Grace Healing with her wife Bobbie in Tappan, NY.

Bobbie Sterchele is a registered nurse, a gifted intuitive healer, energy worker, and psych-K practitioner. Bobbie is co-owner of Space of Grace Healing with her wife Rita in Tappan, NY.

Donna McDine is an award-winning children’s author and writes from her home in Tappan, NY. Donna is a member of the SCBWI, NYS Reading Association, and Family Reading Partnership.

About the illustrator: Maureen “Renie” De Mase studied art in New York City and is a mixed medium freelance artist. Renie creates in her home studio in Ramsey, NJ, and is a proud owner of Renie’s Art. Renie is also a member of the Graphic Artist Guild.
