Humane Award - Play It Forward

I've been a bit behind this week and won't bore you with why. I was pleasantly surprised to be awarded the Human Award by Beverly Stowe McClure and I'm finally getting the chance to Play It Forward. Beverly and I met several years ago, when I first embarked on my writing career and we have constantly stayed in touch throughout the years. Beverly is quite the talented author and you should take the time out to visit her blog to learn more about her:

According to the description, this award is to honor certain bloggers that I feel are kindhearted individuals. They regularly take part in my blog and always leave the sweetest comments. If it wasn't for them, my site would just be an ordinary blog. Their blogs are also amazing and are tastefully done on a regular basis. I thank them and look forward to our growing friendships through the blog world. And I would like to do so now. There are many, many I could list. These are just a few that I'd like to give this award to:

  1. Wow! Congratulations, Donna. I'm so thrilled for you. Of course, it doesn't surprise me that you would be recognized as an outstanding writer and a good person. Keep up the good work.
    Just Joany

  2. I agree with Just Joany. You are an inspiration to all of us, Donna. It was a pleasure to give you this award.

  3. Joany:

Thank you very much for your heartwarming words. I truly appreciate and value our friendship.

Thank you too for the award and your heartwarming words. Always makes it worth it.

    Best wishes,

  4. Thank you Donna, for your inspiring posts and talented guests. I always take something away when I visit.

  5. Congrats to you and thanks as well! I appreciate it!

    Topsy Turvy Land

  6. I'm humbled and honored. I don't know what to say. I'd like to thank my parents, my editor, my fifth grade teacher, oh, and my dog barky. I couldn't have done it without you.

    Stephen Tremp

  7. I've said it on Facebook now I'll take the time to say it here ... you are my writing angel. In the three years I've known you you've been a wealth of knowledge to me and you've readily shared that knowledge. I'm honored to be in a critique group with you and really appreciate your feedback on my manuscript. I'd also like to thank you for introducing me to various outlets, like Jacketflap, to help get my name into the marketplace. I am honored that you have selected me to receive the Humane Award. Thanks!

Thank for you taking the time out to visit with me and to learn about my writing career.

Please be sure to leave your blog address so I can reciprocate.

I look forward to visiting you too.
