E is for Empowered - #AtoZChallenge

What has EMPOWERED you lately to continue onward with your latest work-in-progress? For me, engagement with my critique group partners, Karin and Marilyn empowers me to push forward in not giving up on my writing. Their constructive criticism and words of encouragement with my manuscripts throughout the years has been instrumental in me not throwing my hands up in despair and giving up, especially when the dreaded decline notification is received.

What has empowered you to continue to pursue your goals, whatever they may be?

I look forward to our continued engagement. Thanks for visiting!

  1. I'm empowered through DLP at the moment, but not so much my own writing. I'm constantly thinking about it though.

    1. That he does! Chapel service at work today was about recognizing all the small things God does for us daily and not to focus on the grand.

  9. Have no clue what keeps me moving. Just know I'm unhappy when I'm not writing. Does that count?

  10. This week I decided to rewrite a character arc and that really put the fire under my butt. I was determined to get it done before I went back to the day job tomorrow. I'm happy to say I achieved that goal last night at 1am.

  12. I think at this point, I don't want the years I've spent on it to be a waste of time. I have to prove myself worthy enough to make it. :)
