Overwhelmed by Social Media - Hire an Expert Like I Did!

Are you overwhelmed by social media and often throw your hands up in despair? Believe me I know how you feel. Until I finally took the guidance that I received way back in 2018. 

This moment occurred for me at the Life Balance Retreat hosted by Shilamida “Goddess of Gratitude” in Ramsey, NJ in June 2018. During the weekend retreat, it was discussed about releasing tasks that sucked up your time from your true inspiration. My initial thoughts were, how can I possibly afford to hire a housekeeper and even more so, a social media marketing guru? This thought process fits right into my previous posts of slaying the inner naysayer. 

I did slay the concerns of hiring a housekeeper in 2018, but for some reason or another, I held off on hiring a social media marketing guru to take some of the pressure off of me. My ego would often tell me, don’t hire a social media marketing guru, you can do it yourself. I’ve always prided myself in being technology savvy, but to be quite honest with you. The constant changes in the social medial landscape are overwhelming. Unfortunately, I’ve allowed this feeling to stop me in my tracks and I have ignored a consistent social media presence for quite some time. With that being said, blast forward to current day February 2020, I’m delighted to announce I have stepped out of my own way and hired someone to handle my social media. 

I know Shil, you are saying out loud just about now... "what took you so long, Donna!?"

Let me get right to it! 

I’m pleased to announce I have hired Sean Brennan, a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a B.S. in Industrial Design! 

Sean’s experience at Shark Ninja, Operating LLC, as a Creative Marketing Intern for 18 months provided on the job training and experience well beyond the scope of Industrial Design. Fine-tuning his creative skills with collaborative work between the creative, engineering and industrial design teams for in-depth marketing purposes has proven to be invaluable. 

Sean's expertise with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, MS PowerPoint, MS Office, Sketching Sketchbook Pro, InVision, SolidWorks and Keyshot provides a true working knowledge of an array of programs that are imperative in today’s ever-changing technology landscape. These skills are proven assets in the Design and Marketing world. 

Sean’s knack of grasping and embracing the social media trends as to what grabs the Internet surfer’s attention from the onset is beyond my expectations. 

Hiring Mr. Brennan to handle the social media design and implementation for Energy of Serenity LLC and my author presence, Donna McDine, is one of the best decisions I have made professionally.

How exhilarating to be at my day job, in session with a Reiki client or working on my latest work-in-progress to find my social media being handled creatively and professionally!
