J is for Journey ~ A to Z 2015 Challenge



J is for Journey...

Definition...



noun

1.
a traveling from one place to another, usually taking a 
rather long time; trip
2.
a distance, course, or area traveled or suitable for traveling
3.
a period of travel
4.
passage or progress from one stage to another

Many of us participating in the A to Z 2015 Challenge are writer's and our goal is publication. Even though we all have the same goal, each of our journeys are unique.

Honor your process and refrain from comparing your journey to others. We all have a path to follow and honor. Success is had by staying true to ourselves and our journey.

We are all in this together, with virtually an unlimited source of support, especially through the Insecure Writer's Support Group - #IWSG!

    We , as you say are all unique (thank goodness there's only one of me), all our journeys are unique yet so many of us travel the same journey to the publishers for our work to be looked at.

    It's definitely an interesting perspective; we are all on the same journey, and yet each is so different at the same time. That's why it's good not to compare our progress with someone else's--something that's so hard not to do sometimes! Thanks for this post, I needed it. :)
