#IWSG ~ Insecure Writer's Support Group

I can hardly believe it's August 5th and it's our 26th wedding anniversary! The roller-coaster of life has certainly kept things interesting all these years and I wouldn't want to be on this ride with anyone else but my hubby, Tom. Love you sweetie! 
Now onto #IWSG! 

 The awesome co-hosts for the the August 5 posting of the IWSG will be Nancy Gideon, Bob R Milne, Doreen McGettigan, Chrys Fey, Bish Denham, and Pat Garcia! 

My writing has taken the backseat for quite some time now, but thankfully my fifth children's book is due to be released December 2015 and I'm working on the marketing plan as we speak. But as for writing anything new, it's been nothing, nada, zip! I'm not going to beat myself up about it, but rather take care of myself both physically and mentally to help re-spark my writing bug! 

I hope you are all doing well and inspiration continues to flourish through you!

    Be sure to add me to your list of blogs to visit with your new book! I'm with you on the NADA front. I wrote like a fiend for four years and now...crickets. But it'll come back. Until then, promoting 11 books keeps me busy enough. ;)

    Congrats on the upcoming book.
    You have the perfect attitude. When I don't get anything written, I have to consciously fight not to beat myself up over it.

    I am already stressing because I am working on the final draft of my 3rd book and I am not sure what the 4th book will be. Several possibilities are arguing with one another causing me sleepless nights. I think I might take a break.
    I am sure your ideas will come flooding back too. Happy writing...

    Congratulations on your wedding anniversary. I celebrated my 28th anniversary yesterday. Four children's books published and one to be released December 2015 means you have been an active, productive writer. Great job. You deserve time to sit back and recover yourself.
