L is for Laugh - #AtoZChallenge

The word of the day is LAUGH...

I dare you to make a point of laughing at yourself at least once a day and through at the day. The stress release you will feel is inspiring! It’s important not to take yourself too serious! If we do, we will end up as one wrinkled prune! I dare you, laugh at yourself… it will be fun…I promise!

My most recent laugh at myself moment. I was singing at the top of my lungs to my curling iron, when my daughter walked into the room and instead of stopping immediately I began cracking up and kept singing and she joined in with me. Priceless! In the past I would have stopped and acted like she didn’t catch me! So fun to be spontaneous!

Have you laughed at yourself lately? If yes, please share why. Thanks for visiting!

  1. Laughter is so important. I've shared many moments with my daughter too. A super L word. I'll try to laugh at myself at least once today :)

  2. Kids are so good at this. They can laugh at something that is not even funny and suddenly it becomes funny. We grow older and its funny how we have to be reminded to do this. Thankyou Donna! Am gonna laugh today.

  3. Sometimes I search for funny cat vids just so I can have a good laugh. Here's your laugh for the day:

What did the doe say when she came out of the woods?
"That's the last time I do that for two bucks!"

  5. I'm more likely to try to make someone else laugh than myself. Either way, it always feels good.

  6. I did laugh at myself yesterday. I was in the garden doing a spring clean up when a snake scared the beejeebers out of me. I flew backward and landed with a thunk on my backside. Anyone seeing that would have had a good laugh, but there wasn't anyone except me. So I laughed instead.

  8. We had a good laugh at me today... We stopped to sign our taxes. I told my husband last week we were going to get 11 back...my mind said 11k. I was wrong...sooooo wrong, but my awesome hubby said, we are doing this tax thing just right. We don't want to owe and we don't want them to keep too much of our money.
